IVE up 2.5 per cent on first full day

IVE’s debut on the ASX was steady yesterday, but by noon on the first full day, today, the share price had climbed by a very healthy 2.5 per cent to $2.04.

Almost ten per cent of the 37.8 million shares were traded yesterday following the 12 noon launch, with some 3,287,767 changing hands, with the share price ending virtually unchanged at $1.990 from its $2 launch.

As for the other print businesses listed on the ASX this year PMP’s share price has been on a gentle decline for the past three months, but it still trading around 20 per cent higher than the start of the year at 49c.

Wayne Sidwell’s Wellcom has been the stand out print performer of the year, with its stock price up by a whopping 50 per cent compared with this time last year, it is currently reaching $4.85.

Colorpak suffered a slump in the first half of the year, dropping from 64c down to 40c, but in the second half has been on a sustained recovery, and is now trading at 52c.

Opus had a volatile first two months of the year, which saw it shoot up from 34c to 52c, then plummet back to 35c, but since then it has steadily gained all year, and is now trading at 50c.

Packaging giant Amcor started the year at $12.25, then went on to peak at around $14.50 throughout autumn and winter, but in the last few weeks has pulled back considerably, falling from $13.75 to $12.80.
